Planning and Transfer Headquarters (PATH)

Chris Satterfield, PATH Coordinator

The Planning and Transfer Headquarters (PATH) is an essential resource for students planning to continue their education at a four-year college or university. The PATH staff assists students in preparing a smooth transition to other institutions by providing them information, resources and academic planning services. PATH also hosts Transfer Days and other events to provide students with opportunities to meet representatives from four-year colleges and universities on campus to learn more about the senior institutions and their transfer options.

The Transfer Tuesday and Thursday schedule is on the Blackboard calendar and campus calendar. Visits typically begin the second week of the semester and extend to the week before exams.

PATH is also an excellent resource for faculty to visit to clarify advising questions about various four-year colleges and universities for their advisees.

The PATH staff coordinates, distributes, and stores all articulation and transfer agreements. Contact René Sawyer if you are interested in pursuing an articulation or transfer agreement and for information on all current articulation and transfer agreements. All outside requests for the development of articulation and transfer agreements should be forwarded to her. PATH Coordinator Chris Satterfield manages the intake and storage of all student intent forms to participate in articulation, transfer, and bridge programs. The transfer pathways link is as follows: https://www.gvltec.edu/academics_learning/transfer/.

The Planning and Transfer Headquarters is located on Greenville Tech's Barton Campus in Room 139 of the University Transfer Building (Building 104). For additional information, contact the PATH staff at (864) 250-8393 or by emailing Chris Satterfield.
