Diesel Equipment Technology Certificate in Applied Science
Program Description
The Diesel Equipment Technology program at Greenville Technical College's School of Aviation, Construction and Transportation Technologies provides students with the solid foundation employers are looking for. With an emphasis on Commercial Semi-Trucks, students can apply classroom, digital and hands-on instruction, to work in the Heavy Equipment, Electric Power Generation, Marine and Locomotive industries.
Mission Statement
The Diesel Technology certificate is designed to prepare graduates with the necessary technical skills to become a diesel technician. The student will receive a well-rounded education including basic knowledge and mechanical theories with significant hands-on experience. Graduates will have a solid foundation of knowledge to confidently execute the well-acclaimed ASE certifications.
