Greenville Technical college students have access to Appreciative Academic Advising through an assigned School, Satellite, or Faculty Advisor depending on their program of study and specific academic and professional goals.  School Advising Centers are primarily located on the Barton Campus.  Satellite Campus Advisors are located at each of our Satellite locations (see below), and Faculty Advisors are located in proximity to the majors they support.  All Greenville Technical College advisors provide Appreciative Advising services and registration support for new and returning students within their designated division. Advisors serve students by appointment and, on a walk-in basis. Returning students are encouraged to schedule an advising appointment with their assigned advisor whenever they need guidance.

Faculty Advising 

New and returning students may also be assigned a Faculty Advisor within their major.  Given the specific subject knowledge and professional expertise faculty advisors possess, students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with their Faculty Advisor to discuss future coursework, student support services and specific questions related to their degree pathway or intended profession.
