Note: Credit for this course does not transfer to any four-year college and may not be counted as credit toward any degree. This course offers a review of academic reading and writing skills necessary for success in transitional and college-level courses. Students will apply strategies learned to the enhancement of reading comprehension skills and to writing activities for a variety of rhetorical situations. Note: Students who complete this course should not enroll in ENG 032 or RDG 032. This course is no longer offered at GTC.

Offered Fall and Spring Semesters

Note: Credit for this course does not transfer to any four-year college and may not be counted as credit toward any degree. This course is a study of basic writing and different modes of composition and may include a review of usage. It also covers the application of basic reading skills to improve critical comprehension and higher order thinking skills. Note: Students who complete this course should not enroll in ENG 100 or RDG 100. This course is no longer offered at GTC.
